Supplementary & Transport fees for Learning Journey

Hi 5A parents,

We'll be having a short supplementary tomorrow right after English Enrichment. It will end by 3pm. Some pupils have requested for early dismissal because they had tuition at 3pm. I have granted permission for this group of pupils. Next week, we will start our remedial. Only pupils with consent forms are required to attend the remedial lessons.

Next Monday, 24th of March, we'll be going to the Road Safety Park. There'll be long day after the Learning Journey. Pupils need not bring any textbooks that day. We'll be doing computer lab work for the rest of the day after the learning journey.

This term is an exciting term! On the 3rd April, Thursday, we will be going for another learning journey. This time, we are going to the Singapore Discovery Centre. Notification and consent forms will be issued soon.

Please pardon me, I have forgotten to inform the pupils today that I need to collect $1 transport fee for the Road Safety Park and $2 for the Singapore Discovery Centre. So in total I need to collect $3 for the learning journeys. I'll start to collect the money tomorrow. Parents, can you kindly remind your child to bring the money? Please get your child to bring the money and hand it in latest by Friday. I will remind them too tomorrow.

Thanks! Happy a Blessed week ahead!

Regards,
Miss Tan

March Holiday Homework

Hi 5A,

"All play, no work during March holiday makes 5A pupils lazy" Do you agree with ME?

It's March holiday. Do take some time to "sharpen your saw". Rest, play, learn something new, read a book, watch a movie, swim, exercise...... do something you enjoy! Pamper yourself a little.

It's been a really busy term and I'm sure a short break will help us to revitalise and be ready for the marathon ahead of us.

I'm posting you the March holiday homework just in case you miss out any in the class.
  1. Maths Workbook Worksheet : Practice 5
  2. English "4 in 1" Assessment : Exercise 3 and 4
  3. English Book Review
  4. Litespeed online homework. (5 exercises)
  5. OnLine Maths Test on the 12 and 13th March. (Refer to notification for more information)
  6. Design school uniform and PE attire.
  7. Brainstorm and design prototype for SONY CREATIVE TOYS COMPETITION. http://www.science.edu.sg/ssc/events.jsp?type=17&root=0&parent=0&cat=275 For more information, click on the link above.

5A, please do not do all the homework in one go. Spread out the work and spend some time to really try your best in giving quality work.

Last but not least, enjoy your holiday!

~Love, Miss Tan~
